Sonancy & Songcraft is the art of the ephemeral. It is the creation and performance of music. A song is a unique art form that exists only in the moment it is performed, acting directly on the emotional and psychic state of the listener. It is a powerful tool for social cohesion, ritual, and psychological warfare.

• Tier 1 (The Folk Song): Simple, catchy melodies and stories passed down through oral tradition. These songs are often created spontaneously by agents to boost morale during repetitive labor or to share a story around a campfire.
• Tier 2 (The Symphony): Complex, composed works requiring skilled musicians and specialized instruments. A symphony can tell a long, complex story without words and can be the centerpiece of a high-culture event. Performing a successful symphony can grant massive, long-lasting mood and relationship buffs to an entire audience.
• Tier 3 (The Anthem): This is music as a weapon. An Anthem is a song crafted with a specific memetic intent, designed to resonate with a core Faith or Archetype. A [Hegemonic March] can instill [Discipline] and [Courage] in troops. A [Cultist's Chant] can be the key component in a powerful Ritual. A [Rebel's Hymn] can inspire a downtrodden population to rise up.
